My mission statement is simple, to provide quality training that enhances the skills and knowledge of the construction workforce I have a passion for the growth and support of this future "Toolbelt Generation". My field of expertise is construction and heavy equipment, and my values and goals are to promote excellence, innovation, sustainability, and getting the next generation in the industry!

My current role at DDS Companies is that of a Training Coordinator; my main responsibility is to provide all new employee orientation from the hands on skills they will need on the jobsite everyday, to the things that often get over-looked like silica awareness, hand safety, PPE, and awareness around equipment on site. As well as doing all annual Gas Tech Operational Requirements (OQ's) from fusion of any sort, coal tar wrap, and asbestos abatement. My team and I are also very active in recruitment going to many BOCES and Technical colleges across New York State.

Mark Payne

Mark Payne is a seasoned leader in workforce development, currently serving as the Director of Training and Development for the Artera North Gas Division. With a dual leadership role, Mark spearheads training initiatives at The DDS Companies and Feeney Brothers Utility Services, driving excellence across the two leading contractors in the utility construction sector. 

Michael Fallat, serving as President of The DDS Companies, has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to excellence and leadership throughout his career in the construction industry. His journey began at an early age, progressing from foundational roles as a laborer during school breaks to more advanced positions as a project engineer during college. Since joining DDS in 2015, Mike has successfully led high-performing teams through complex, large-scale civil projects and managed gas distribution operations across diverse regions. Mike’s extensive experience in project management, operational leadership, and strategic customer engagement has been instrumental in his progression to President. His dynamic leadership approach built upon People-First, continues to drive growth, operational excellence, and innovation within The DDS Companies.
